My dtr Elise is 3 and was diagnosed by MRI on July 23 with a CM1. She underwent a decompression surgery on Sept 30. Her primary complaint was central sleep apnea and had cranial nerve impingement causing a hoarse voice. Directly, out of the OR her apnea was markedly better. Over the past 2 weeks, her voice is more clear and audibly healing. We saw our NS today and he is pleased with her progress..... we are so happy with our little miracle. I am just having a hard time getting her to understand that picking at her incision is a BAD thing. She hates the band-aids because they pull her hair.
We will have a f/u MRI in 3 months and a f/u sleep study in 6 months.

Wendi2, I am so happy to hear how well your daughter is doing. They usually do so well at that young an age.
