Looking for headache advice

Most of us here probably get them.....how do you cope?

One thing that can be tried to help with headaches is the use of a soft foam collar. You can buy them at a medical supply store without prescription. Be sure the fit is good, ie not too tall causing your chin to tilt up (hyperextension) and not too short, causing hyper flexion, both situations will cause increase in sx.

You can buy a tall one and trim it down if necessary. This helps when sx really flare up, some people have mentioned wearing it for an hour or two and then taking it off. You wouldn't want to wear it 24/7 as that would be counterproductive as it'd allow your muscles to weaken.

Just a thought...avoid the things that cause headaches, loud noisy places, bright lights, wear sunglasses and a visor, too much computer causes headaches in people, etc...
