Acupuncture, so worth it!

Postby TabulaRasa » Fri Nov 30, 2012 8:52 pm

I started acupuncture on November 9th and had my third treatment on November 27th. Before my first treatment I was having headaches every day, no joke. Between my second treatment on the 16th and my third treatment on the 27th, I had 3 headaches. Again no joke. I'm still taking Gabapentin for the pain so I can't tell if it's helping the pain but this (and a combination of meds and biofeedback) is definitely doing something. I fully recommend trying this if your insurance covers it. And also make sure it's a doctor or licensed acupuncturist you're seeing (if they have something in their resume mentioning a UCLA course you're in good hands).

We had a lecture at the 2012 conference by a oriental medicine specialist and will stream the video on the website once I get a schedule, conversion, upload, etc.
