What Is It?
ASAP has established a physician and health care professional
membership option in an effort to construct a comprehensive network to
promote collaboration of medical professionals, research scientists and
hospitals.
ASAP’s goal is to create an expanded lay and
scientific community that is dedicated to the improved care and quality
of life for patients with syringomyelia, Chiari I malformation and
related disorders through education and research. This community will
meet annually at the national ASAP conference to present and discuss
scientific and clinically relevant issues to solve problems via
dialogue, strategic planning, and education.
Who Can Join?

Physicians,
neuroscientists, pharmacists, psychologists, registered nurses,
physician assistants, therapists. ASAP offers reduced membership fees
for resident physicians in training.
