driving

Postby catlewis » Wed Aug 05, 2009 8:48 am

Hi

I drive a lot for my job. Im having increased pain in my arms, neck and shoulders while driving. Are there things available besides my pillows to help support my arms? It seems the worse when I hold the steering wheel at 3 and 9 position. Or if I hold on at 12.

Not driving is not an option. Too many drugs and I can't drive either. Kind of a no win situation.

Thanks for your advice,

Cat

Hi Cat,

I'm not aware of anything specific. However, you should probably browse through some of the previous posts to find links for places that specialize in altered equipment. I don't recall which posts have links or I'd direct you to the right post. Hopefully, once you find a few links to specialty equipment sites, you'll find something of use to help while you're driving.

Take care,
GOD Bless!

Did you ever find anything that helps? I also drive for work and have the same pain you described. In fact my left arm is becoming very weak and painful.
