There's a very active, very supportive site called Chiari UK.

There are regular meet ups. I made great connections to excellent neurosurgeons through this site. There is a neurosurgeon who is really outstanding named Conner Mallucci specialised in pediatric chiari neurosurgery at Liverpool. Others too.
