Iv'e known Heidi for over 20 years and since I met her shes been wanting to find her biological mother (she was adopted), yesterday she met with a search angle that shes been in contact with for a couple years and Heidi now knows where her Bio lives, and phone number. this lady wrote a short book about 100 pages or so telling her lifes story and in it it explains her life and why she gave her up for adoption. Heidi has been worried about opening up a can of worms so shes been afraid to pursue this endeavor for quite some time, she didnt want to get people upset with her or have a hostile meeting but it turns out that the person who gave birth to her has never had a problem ever with Heidi getting in contact with her

Hi Don and Heidi,

I am so glad for Heidi that she found her biological mother! It is important to know where your roots are! In Holland there is a program that search for people who were adopted, or their father or mother who left and went abroad. It is called trackless. I like to watch this program. Most of the time you don't expect the outcome from why a mother put up her child for adoption. Also the reason why a parent left a child or family is most of the time surprisingly.

Has she met her mother yet?
